The Research Project Resource Guide (RPRG) is a project developed by the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery and the Advanced Computing Initiative for the UW-Madison campus community. It provides a unified interface and singular portal for the user to see all available research resources (both on-campus and off) mapped to each phase of the research workflow. This allows for discovery of information in a manner that may be more familiar and more intuitive for the user. The RPRG is also great for using as a checklist or task list for the planning phase of a project as it explains and provides resources for important pieces of the grant application process.

Topics covered in each phase include:

Initiate

Define Parameters & Protocols, Establish Data Management Plan, Plan Computing Environment, Collaborate, Draft & Submit Proposal

Execute

Accumulate Data, Process Raw Data, Visualize & Analyze Data, Report Progress

Complete

Preserve Data, Document & Disseminate Findings, Perform Outreach, Closeout
