Do you have an interest in research data, including sharing, analyzing, or organizing data? If you want to explore topics related to helping researchers manage and disseminate their data, then we’re looking for you!

Research Data Services (RDS) is looking for students to write guest posts for the RDS blog during the academic year (or beyond if desired). Writing for our blog is a great way to get involved in the discussions happening in the research data community, hone your writing skills, and to develop professional outputs for your resume.

Students should have strong written communication skills, an interest in data management, sharing, or services, and be willing to commit to writing one blog post per month with deadlines. Previous knowledge of research data management is helpful but not required – we hope that as a contributor, you will learn about new topics through writing for the RDS blog.

To apply please submit a short statement of interest and an attachment or link to a writing sample to Cameron Cook at cccook3@wisc.edu by September 9th.

If you are interested in contributing but cannot commit to one post per month, please submit the application materials indicating that you would like to write a guest post but not become a regular contributor.
