This article takes KU Leuven Libraries in Belgium as a case study of research data management in institutions with diverse research needs. KU Leuven’s RDM model is centered in the library which has dedicated data and research staff who liaise with subject specialists on behalf of researchers, and help with data management plans, infrastructure access and management, and data literacy.
